The Rocky Horror Picture Show

The Lyric in Fort Collins is screening The Rocky Horror Picture Show this Thursday and Friday. The cult classic will be played in The Mothership theater and will be a live event with a shadow cast. Throw bags will be available for $5 at the event. Guests who wish to bring their own props are asked to refrain from bringing rice and water guns. All shows are 18+ only. Tickets are priced at $12 and members can get in free. The next showing of the iconic film will be on December 6th, so mark your calendar now! Friday’s doors open at 8:30 AM and the show begins at 9:00 PM.
Colorado Eagles vs. Rockford IceHogs
Where? 5290 Arena Circle, Loveland

This weekend, watch the Colorado Eagles take on the Rockford IceHogs at the Blue Federal Credit Union Arena in Loveland. Friday’s game will begin at 7:05 PM and there will be a promotional tote bag giveaway presented by Beefsticks for Backpacks. On Saturday, puck drop is again at 7:05 PM and New Belgium Brewing Company will be presenting a Voodoo Ranger Bobblehead Giveaway. Grab your Craft Beer pack game tickets, which includes 2 tickets and 2 20oz Voodoo Ranger or Fat Tire drafts for just $75! The arena has a clear bag policy in place, so make sure to review approved and not approved bags before heading to the game. Children under 2 don’t need a ticket for Eagles games.
PRCA 2025 Boot Barn Mountain States Circuit Finals

Head on over to The Ranch Equestrian Center this Friday and Saturday to catch some pro rodeo action. This is an all ages event, so bring the little ones along or enjoy a date night with a special someone. The Mountain States Circuit Finals are jam-packed with exciting events that you won’t want to miss, so grab your tickets now! The performance schedule kicks off at 7:00 PM on Friday, followed by 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Saturday. Keep the fun going after the rodeo at the official after-party in the East Pavilion near the equestrian center. There will be live bands, a full bar and a lively dance floor. The party is free and open to everyone, whether you watched the rodeo or not. Friday’s performance will be from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM by Brian Brooks’ Sundown Rising and Saturday’s concert will be by Lendon James until midnight!

All of the fun is free with a two-night stay, so make it a staycation and enjoy this autumn getaway without ever leaving Northern Colorado. Kids ages 12 and under get in free. The schedule of events kicks off with crafts and games on Friday, followed by an adult happy hour and a family-friendly concert at 6:30 PM. Saturday continues the fun with craft workshops, tarot card readings, an instrument garden, games and activities and the outdoor movie at 6:30 PM (make sure to grab some popcorn and s’mores)!
Friends of the Loveland Public Library Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Loveland Public Library are hosting a used book sale this weekend, so pick up some new reads without breaking the bank. The sale will be held at the McKee Building at the Ranch Larimer County Fairgrounds, with a members only event on Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (memberships available at the door, starting at $15 per year) and continuing on Saturday and Sunday with public sales. Sunday is fill-a-bag day, with prices set by the bag or container from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Typically, the used book sale has around 50,000 items. This includes all book genres, CDs, DVDs and even puzzles. Prices range from $0.50 for kids books to $2.50 for hardcover books. There will also be vintage books and non-book items that are priced as marked. These used book sales have been very popular in the past, so arrive early for the best selection or consider investing in an annual membership!
Mythmaker Halloween Bash

This Saturday’s Halloween Bash at Mythmaker is a can’t-miss for anyone who loves beer and festive fun. This is the 4th annual bash, with the first 40 people to arrive in costume receiving a free special edition Mythmaker Brewing Halloween-themed pint glass. Doors open for the bash at 6:00 PM! There will also be a costume contest at 7:00 PM, with prizes awarded for the best costume, the best couples costumes and the best group costumes. Make sure to try the two special trick-or-treat beers that will be available all day or while supplies last. The Mobile Mountain Cafe food truck will also be out front all day, so grab a bite to stay fueled for a day of ghoulish good times.
Art After Dark: Classic Horror Costume Party

The Museum of Art in Fort Collins is the place to be this Saturday! The Art After Dark event will be a Classic Horror Costume Party, complete with eerie eats, spine tingling spirits and of course, hauntingly good fun for all! The party will feature tarot card readings, tintype portraits, a costume contest and even a spookiest cat contest! Know Your Natural Area Series

Want to get to know your natural area better? If you answered “yes,” then the Know Your Natural Area Series is for you! This Saturday’s workshop will be held at the McCloskey Natural Area in Greeley, which is on 71st Avenue between 10th Street and 16th Street. The series is free to attend and will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Greeley’s natural spaces and learn about what makes them so special. From trail safety tips, spotting local wildlife, and collecting exclusive stickers from each natural area throughout the series, you’re sure to have a blast! There will be one more date for 2025, which will be held at the Arroyos del Sol Natural Area on November 8th — so mark your calendar now. Leashed pets, kids, family and friends are all welcome.

Explore whimsically-themed zones and make sure you snap a few photos of the larger-than-life pumpkin art. Families can also enjoy seasonal games and nightly live entertainment throughout the gardens. Ukulele Play-Along

Old Town Library in Fort Collins invites NoCo families to enjoy Friday’s Ukulele Play-Along from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM in the large meeting room. Grab your ukulele or another instrument and play along with the group. Who knows what kind of awesome music will be played throughout the afternoon! Attendees are also invited even if they wish to just sing along or jam out to the tunes. All ages and levels are welcome. The program will be led by FortUKE and no tickets or admission will be required to participate.
20th Annual Halloween Hullabaloo

Centerra is excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Halloween Hullabaloo this Saturday. From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, enjoy a not-so-spooky street festival on Fall River Drive in Loveland. This is a free community tradition, with this year’s milestone event featuring all of your favorites and then some. Families of all ages will enjoy carnival rides and games, live music and entertainment, pumpkin bowling, face painting, hands-on activities and more. Of course, no Halloween tradition would be complete without complimentary candy and treats. Goodies are offered courtesy of the Centerra Engagement Assembly and will be available while supplies last. There will be the always-popular Halloween Costume Contest on the main stage from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with categories divided by age groups, group themes and even family pets!
